Aldea successfully designed and executed a Business Intelligence (BI) data services solution on subscription based SaaS model with the pharmaceutical sales audit data for ‘AIOCD Pharmasofttech AWACS’ (a healthcare market research company). AIOCD (All Indian Origin Chemists & Distributors) which has 5.5 lakh members provide the raw data source and the solution will provide an intelligent insight and meaningful views of the analyzed data. Initially, pharmaceutical sales data audit is taken as a product and subsequently, will cover many more products such as prescription data audit.

Aldea established an office in Singapore as a part of its expansion plan. Aldea Singapore will cover South East Asian market where lot of growth stories happening with some of the developing nations. For Aldea, this would be the second office outside India, the first one being the USA.

Aldea entered in to a strategic partnership with Oracle and became a member of Oracle Partner Network (OPN). It enables Aldea to offer application solutions to its clients based on complete suite of Oracle range of products.

Other speakers include experts from Polaris, Cognizant, Mphasis-EDS and Hexaware. It is a part of Smart Techie’s (an associate of Silicon India) series of conferences on Business Intelligence in various cities across India to take the exciting developments to the BI community.

RMK Engineering College, a well known reputed Institution situated near Chennai invited Executives of Aldea for guest lectures. The lectures were organized on 24th March for the final year IT students to enrich their knowledge in the areas of ERP, BI and EAI technologies and to hear the industry experience from the experts. Aldea’s Chief Executive – Strategy, Mr. Soundar Rajan Sathappan was interviewed by Sun TV network for their IT.com program and telecasted in two parts through their Sun News channel. The first part of the program was telecasted on 22nd February and the second part of the program was telecasted on 1st March during their regular slots of IT.com program. The interview focused on the need of quality human resources, plans to train and develop those resources and leveraging the human capital for the IT industry.

Aldea and HCL have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to offer IT services with a special focus on Telecom vertical. Aldea and HCL will collaborate effectively in the areas of technology consulting, solutions implementation and go to market strategy to widen the reach and enhance the offerings mainly within the telecom sector. This MoU draws attention because it comes at the time when Indian telecom space is having a big boom.

Aldea and PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC) have entered in to a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to focus on Government vertical. Aldea and PWC will collaborate in the areas of solutions, technology, implementation and go to market strategy to enlarge the foot print within the government sector. This MoU draws significance due to the fact that Govt. spending on IT is substantially rising year on year and most of the Govt. departments and agencies are formulating strategies for IT roadmap.
